New platform Intel Santa Rosa is the base of the laptop. In the model (on a base of the chipset Intel 965PM) there is NVIDIA Geforce 8400M with 128 MB of video. The model based on chipset Intel 965GN possesses built-in graphical kernel. Processor in both models is Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 (Merom) with the working frequency of 1.8 GHz.
The resolution of the widescreen 15.4 ” display is 1280×800 pixels (WXGA). The laptop includes a 1 GB memory DDR2-667, 120-Gb HDD (5400 rpm) and multiformat DVD-recorder. E500 is equipped with a built-in web-camera (1.3 Megapixel) and with special function LG Smart Cam for video-calls and video-conferences.
The different input-output ports, as well as Bluetooth modules, WiFi (802.11a/b/g) and Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) can be easily connect to variety of devices, as well as to access the Internet and connect to a local network.
